Abstract

Six new channels from five broadcasters were started from April 1, 2015 on V-High multimedia broadcasting. We developed a master control system, accommodating all new broadcasters' programs, for cost effective implementation of the new services. Due to the spatial restrictions, the large part of the master control system has to be placed in an inhabited data center, and the human operators supervise from a remote location. In this paper, we describe the background of the realization of the "remote master control platform."
