抄録

Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) engine is a one of the technics to raise a thermal efficiency of internal combustion engines. HCCI engine have noise and vibration problems. In this paper, inhomogeneity of pre-mixed gas is used to reduce noise and vibrations. In this paper, difference of fuel mixture point makes inhomogeneity of pre-mixed gas. Fuels which do not pass static-mixer and mix with air just before cylinder do not diffuse and make inhomogeneity of pre-mixed gas. For an index of inhomogeneity of pre-mixed gas, R_<f2> was defined as a proportion of fuel mixed just before cylinder to all fuel. This paper presents how reductions of inhomogeneity of pre-mixed gas change when engine output and engine speed change. Reductions of noise and vibration level are difference of level between R_<f2>=0% and R_<f2>=100%. When engine output increased, frequency where inhomogeneity of pre-mixed gas reduce noise level and vibration level shifted in higher frequency and reduction of vibration level increased. When engine speed increased, reductions of noise and vibration level increased. Only on 1200rpm, reductions of noise level were observed in lower than 50Hz.
