抄録

Electric power storage systems based on hydrogen storage device, water electrolyzer and fuel cell have been developed for load leveling. Unitized regenerative fuel cell (URFC) is promising for cost reduction and improvement of operating rate of the system. In this study, stack efficiency and system efficiency considering auxiliaries power and exhaust heat energy of 1 kW class URFC system with auxiliaries were evaluated and compared to the dedicated devices. In addition, response for fluctuated input for electrolysis operation was verified to assume utilization of photovoltaics.
