抄録

Systems of hexatic smectic B (HexB) liquid crystal are investigated by constant-pressure and constant-temperature molecular dynamics simulations. By using a symplectic integrator designed for soft matter under a condition where the fluctuation of the system is large, spontaneous transfer among the metastable states is observed. By analyzing the transfer in both directions, distributions of work values corresponding to the forward and reverse processes are obtained.
