抄録

Condensation temperature of phenol/pyrene binary system was estimated in ideal isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium to provide technical insight regarding condensation behavior in EGR system of diesel exhaust. The condensation temperature rises sensitively to coexistence of pyrene, though simple substance of phenol will not condense at possible temperature and concentration conditions for ordinary EGR systems. The estimation indicated a possibility that condensation occurs in EGR system even in a low concentration condition of 10ppm phenol, if pyrene coexists at the comparable concentration.
