<p>1. The sugar puncture causes hyperglycaemia, but in the cases when the splanchnic nerves of both sides are previously cut off, the hyperglycaemia is always subdued. 2. The hyperglycaemia appears not only after the puncture of the bottom of the fourth ventricle, but also after the electric stimulation of any spot in the basis of the brain.</p>
