一般に、国語の授業ではエッセイのような書いたものの内容を取扱い、書写の授業では書いたものの文字を取り扱う。しかし、著者は芸術教育としての書道と関連させて、手書きの文字を通じて内省を他者への思いやりに繋げるという、書写の授業の方向性を既に述べた。心の教育を無視することが不可能だという昨今の状況を考慮して、この論文では、著者による以前の授業を自己評価するという方法を用いて、国語の授業と書写の授業の両方での「書く学習」の意義を確認するとともに、今後目指すべき新たな国語力育成として、コミュニケーションの能力を発達させる「書く学習」の可能性を提案する。

Generally, Japanese lessons deal with the content of writing such as an essay and Shosha lessons deal with the letters of writing. The author has already mentioned the direction of the Shosha lessons which connects the considerations for other people to the introspection through handwriting, related to the calligraphy lessons as the artistic education. Considering the recent circumstances that it is impossible to neglect mental education, this thesis confirms the significance of ”studying writing”, both in Japanese lessons and Shosha lessons as the activities for attaining linguistic proficiency, by means of self-assessment of the previous lessons by the author and proposes the potential of ”studying writing” which develops the ability for communication.
