近年、アサーションの概念が注目されている。看護基礎教育においては、学生が自己表明力を養うことができるような意識づけが重要と考える。本研究は、看護系女子大学生の友人関係における自己表明力とそれに関係する心理的要因を明らかにすることを目的とした。調査は、無記名自記式の質問紙調査とし、A 看護系女子大学生169 名を対象とした。調査内容は、対象者の学年、柴橋による自己表明尺度およびアサーションの心理的要因尺度、Rosenberg の自尊心尺度、その他独自の質問項目とした。その結果、163 名（回収率96.4％）から回答を得た。看護学生の自己表明得点は、学年による差はなく、一般大学生と比して低い傾向にあった。統計解析では、「リラックス」、「相手に気配りした表現」、「安心感」、「配慮・熟慮」、「率直さへの肯定感」、「スキル不安」、「支配欲求」、「自尊心」を独立変数、「自己表明」を従属変数とする重回帰分析を行った。同様の方法により、「自己表明」の４つの下位尺度毎に分析を行った。その結果、自己表明尺度の合計得点には、「率直さへの肯定感（β =.458）」、「スキル不安（β = − .338）」、「配慮・熟慮（β = − .184）」が有意な関連を示した（R2=.417、調整済みR2=.406）。このことから、自己表明力を育むために、「率直さへの肯定感」を持ち、自分の考えや気持ちを明確に意識化することで「スキル不安」を軽減していくこと、また、日頃の相手への気配りが患者の接遇につながることを意識し、「配慮・熟慮」できる力を養う必要性が示された。

Recently, more and more importance has been attached to the concept of assertiveness　in basic nursing education. Because nurses' assertiveness plays an important role in communication with patients and medical staff, nursing students need to be aware of the importance of self-expression in relation with their friends and in their future careers as well. The aim of this study was to identify psychological factors influencing self-expression in nursing students. An anonymous questionnaire survey was conducted with 169 students at A University. A self-developed questionnaire including Shibahashi’s five psychological factors, Rosenberg’s Self-Esteem Scale（RSES）was used to measure psychological factors as the independent variable and Shibahashi’s Self-Expression Scale was used to measure the dependent variable. One hundred sixty-three students returned completed questionnaires (96.4% response rate). Analysis revealed that the nursing students had lower scores in self-expression than other university students，and that there was no difference between the grades of the nursing students. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that the following psychological factors: "respect for straightforwardness ( β =.458)," "anxiety about communication skills ( β = − .338)," and "consideration and deliberation ( β = − .184)" were significantly related to selfexpression, and R2 was 41.7 percent, and adjusted R2 40.6 percent. Findings suggest that in order to develop self-assertiveness, nursing students need to reduce anxiety about communication skills by having a moderate level of respect for straightforwardness and raising awareness of their own ideas and feelings.
