自閉症児を対象とする遊戯療法が今回のテーマである。それは,一時その効用が疑問視されていたが,近年,「共感的模倣」を中心とする取り組みが成果を挙げつつあり,その機序の解明を期して,本稿では理論的・実践的検討を行った。そして,一事例におけることばのやりとりに即した考察から,クライエントの「詞」に対してセラピストが適切な「辞」を添えることの重要性を指摘した。

This paper focused especially on the play therapy with autistic children. There used to be question about its effectiveness, but the treatment by “empathic imitation" has proved to be very useful. For clarifying its therapeutic mechanism, due consideration in theory and practice was given. As a result of the analysis of verbal transactions in one case, the importance of inserting “Ji" ( nonconceptualized, subjective expression ) into “Shi" ( conceptualized, objective expression ) was revealed.
