抄録

In July 2010, the Koya River rose with the heavy rains and it was occurred flood in Kikugawa and Toyota districts where it is in this river basin. Resident living in these districts had flood hazard map before this disaster. A capacity building for disaster risk reduction (DRR) was carried out here as countermeasure against flood. This study deals with a questionnaire survey on awareness of disaster prevention which was investigated the utilization of the flood hazard map. The following results are obtained from our survey
