This paper presents a list of documents on the history of labor―the Tsuji collection ―donated by the Osaka Institute for Social Movements. The late Tsuji Yasuharu (1935-1998), who donated the documents, played a pivotal role in the Ohmikenshi human rights dispute at the Hikone factory of Ohmikenshi-Boseki Co. Ltd., which was among the major Japanese labor disputes during the 1950s. The dispute began with the formation of labor unions and gained victory through long-term strikes. Prior to this paper, our previous study ―Shimanishi, Umezaki, Shimokubo, Taniai, and Nagumo (2014a) ―has discussed how the documents were obtained in detail and summarized in other previous studies on the Ohmikenshi human rights dispute and on the work culture and labor movement. We further investigate the significance of these documents and hope that the publication of the list of documents in this study can aid future researchers.
