ものづくり教育の推進を目的として,本学の学生にLEDを用いたキャンドルライトを製作してもらい,校内をライトアップする企画を実施した。また,ものづくりについてのアンケート調査も実施した。その結果,参加した300名以上の学生のものづくりへの関心は高く,充実した内容のものとなったが,ものづくりの機会が少ないことが,ものづくりができにくい状況になっていることがわかった。これより,ものづくりの機会を数多く提供し,その楽しさを再発見してもらうことが,ものづくり教育の推進に重要であることが確認できた。

We practiced manufacturing education in December, 2013 and December, 2014. At the same time, we did a questionnaire survey about manufacturing. At the beginning of this plan, About 300 students manufactured LED candle light by themselves and illuminated Kashiwara campus. They're lacking in experience about manufacturing but very interested and able to enjoy making candle light. We'll report that “It's important for a chance of manufacturing to be often offered and to find its pleasure." from these practice and questionnaire result.
