抄録

本研究の目的は, わが国の公営地下鉄の資本ストックを推計することである。推計する期間は1976年度から2007年度で, 粗資本ストックと純資本ストックの両方推計する。最初に資本ストックの具体的な推計方法について説明し, 次に事業者別に推計結果を提示する。推計した結果, 公営地下鉄の資本ストックは相次ぐ新線開業によって増加が続いている。しかし, 新線開業がない事業者の資本ストックは大きく変化していないか減少している場合があるということが明らかになった。また, 多くの事業者で資本ストックの増加ほど輸送量は増加していないことも明らかになった。 （英文） The aim of this paper is to estimate the capital stock in Japanese public subway. The series cover the period from 1976 to 2007. We estimate both the gross capital stock and the net capital stock. We explain how we estimate the capital stock in the public subway and show the estimation results of the capital stock company by company. As a result, subway companies continue to open new lines and capital stocks increase over time. However, if a subway company does not open a new line, the capital stock does not change substantially or decreases. In most companies, the passenger—kilometer does not increase compared with the capitastock.
