青年期は家族を離れて，自分の生活基盤を確立しながら別の家族を作りあげるための移行段階にあり，どのような家族を築いていくかという課題に青年は取り組まなければならない。本研究では質問紙を用いて大学生・大学院生の現在の家族機能を健全なものから順にバランス群・中間群・極端群に分類した上で，その3群の青年の未来動的家族画による未来家族イメージと面接内容について分析を行った。その結果，バランス群の未来家族イメージはポジティブな傾向があり，中間群の未来家族イメージは両価的かつネガティブな傾向があり，極端群の未来家族イメージはネガティブな傾向があった。しかし極端群の青年には葛藤を回避することでネガティブなイメージを乗り越えようとする力も見られた。これらのことから心理臨床家は青年を取り巻く現在家族の機能を丁寧に把握し，青年の未来の描き方を見立てていく必要があることを本研究は示唆している。Adolescents away the current family are in a transitional phase to make up another family while establishing their own livelihood, and they must confront the issue of what type of family they will build. The study population consisting of college students and graduate students was classified into the balance group, the middle group, and the extreme group according to the current family function using a questionnaire, and analyzed the future Kinetic Family Drawing and interview contents of the three groups were analyzed. Future family image of the balance group showed a positive trend, that of the middle group showed ambivalent and negative trends, and future family image of the extreme group showed a negative trend. However the youth of in the extreme group showed that they had the ability to overcome the negative image by avoiding conflict. Considering these findings, this study suggested that clinical psychologists should carefully examine the function of the current family surrounding the youth, and observe how they will draw their own future family image.
