本論では仏教経典の十地経の序品に記されている，金剛蔵菩薩の沈黙について深層心理学の観点から分析した。十地経の序品では金剛蔵菩薩と解脱月菩薩の二人の菩薩が十地という菩薩の十の成長段階を説明することの可否をめぐって話し合う。金剛蔵菩薩は十地を誤解する衆生がいるといい詳細を語らず沈黙する。解脱月菩薩らは金剛蔵菩薩を説得するが事態は変わらない。そのとき如来の光が照らし出され，それを機に金剛蔵菩薩は十地を語り始める。深層心理学からみると，沈黙という事態が生じたのは菩薩らの転移が影響していると考えられる。本論では菩薩らの対話や菩薩が集まっているグループ構造，転移の分析によって金剛蔵菩薩の沈黙について象徴的な意味を分析し，菩薩は転移やコンプレックスがあるために如来に成れていないことを明らかにした。本論は十地経の深層心理学的な理解と，クライエントと治療者の在り方について有益な観点をもたらすだろう。This report analyzes the introductory chapter of Ten Stages Sutra, which describes the silence of Bodhisattava Kongozo, from the perspective of depth psychology. In this chapter, Kongozo discussed the propriety to explain to sentient beings about the ten growth stages of bodhisattava with Bodhisattava Gedatugetu. Kongozo became silent without explaining details as he felt that people will misunderstand the stages. Gedatugetu tried to persuade him; however, Kongozo did not explain the stages. Thereafter, Kongozo attained enlightenment and began to explain the details. From the perspective of depth psychology, this silence of Kongozo occurred due to transference of Kongozo, Gedatugetu, and sentient beings. Analyzing the symbolic meaning of silence of Kongozo, bodhisattavas’ dialogue, and group structure of bodhisattavas, it is clear that bodhisattavas cannot avoid transference and they cannot become Tathagata. This report is beneficial for understanding the Ten Stage Sutras from the perspective of depth psychology as well as for analyzing patients and therapist attendance.
