The purpose of this study is to evaluate the educational effects of paid service learning (PSL) by collaboration between Hiroshima Bunka Gakuen University (HBG) and social enterprises. A total of 43 students participated for 5 years from 2019 to 2015. The effects of PSL on students were evaluated by The Facts on Aging Quiz (FAQ), Semantic Differential (SD) Method, and Quantitative Text Analytical Method. As a result of unpaired t-test, PSL students had significantly higher FAQ scores than freshmen (p<.001). The scores of the SD method were also significantly more positive in PSL students than in freshmen (p<.001). As a result of the analysis of the free questionnaire description, it was shown that the learning environment of the PSL student, the relation with the staff member, and the content of the learning were good. Therefore, PSL is advisable to make it more accessible for students.
