This study examined the influence of demographic variables on habitual health-related behavior and consciousness of physical health. Eight hundred adults(30-59 years old)were asked to respond to web-based questionnaires that measured their demographic variables, habitual health-related behavior, consciousness of physical health and experiences related to receiving concerns by interpersonal relationships. The main results were as follows. Women tend to receive concerns of broad range of relationships. By contrast, men tend to receive support by close relationships. Furthermore, divorced or widowed men had a vulnerability to self-care. These results indicate that discussions about effective interventions for promoting daily health-related behaviors are needed.
