It is known that the cognitive processing style must be considered when supporting people with neurodevelopmental disorders. However, people themselves with neurodevelopmental disorders, parents, and teachers, who do not have a psychological background often have difficulties understanding them concretely. Therefore, a psychoeducational assessment must provide more understandable explanations of assessment results. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether eye tracking reflected patients’ cognitive processing style. Participants (N = 12) without neurodevelopmental difficulties were examined for their cognitive processing style using WAIS-Ⅳ and KABC-Ⅱ, and eye movements. The results indicated that eye movement might reflect the degree of working memory but did not predict task performance. More research is needed with other participants having different cognitive processing styles from those in this study to examine the relationship between the cognitive processing style and eye movements in more detail.
