抄録

A marine Pserludomenas species designated as WAK-1 strain produces an acidic muco-(A-1) and a sulfated (B-1) polysaccharide. The structure of the polysaccharide B-1 was determined by means of methylation, acetolysis, periodate oxidation, and Smith degradation. Conformation of the polysaccharide was established by ¹H and ¹³C NMR spectroscopy. Assignments for proton signals were carried out by DQF-COSY spectra.<br>It is concluded that the polysaccharide is composed of trisaccharide repeating-units with the structure: ??
