抄録

By Anthrone method, the author performed quantitative determination of total and free glycogen in conjunctival epithelium in the normal state, in trachoma, folliculosis conjunctivae, keratoconjunctivitis epidemica and conjunctivitis vernalis, and the results were stochastically assessed. In trachoma, both total and free glycogen were significantly greater in amount than in the normal conjunctiva.<BR>Also in folliculosis conjunctivae, both tended to increase, but there was no significant difference between the values in trachoma and folliculosis conjunctivac. Further, these values were increased in keratoconjunctivitis epidemica and conjunctivitis vernalis.
