Clinical and hematological findings and myelograms were obtained from 13 natural and 16 experimental cases of feline panleukopenia. They are summarized as follows. 1. The main clinical symptoms were depression, anorexia, vomiting, dehydration and pyrexia. The initial clinical symptoms were found in the experimental cases on the 3rd, 4th or 5th day after virus inoculation. 2. The characteristic hematological changes in the peripheral blood were advanced Ieukopenia having resulteld from neutrocytopenia, eosinocytopenia and monocytopenia. The minimum leukocyte counts were observed in the experimental cases on the 3rd to 5th day after virus inoculation. They were less than 1, 000/cmm in the fatal cases. 3. In the aspirated bone marrow, a severe decrease in nucleated cells, particularly immature cells of the myeloid and erythroid series, was characteristic of all the cases examined. The minimum nucleated cell count was seen in the experimental cases on the 5th day after virus inoculation. It was less than 1, 000/cmm in the fatal cases.
