抄録

We report a case of colon cancer with bone marrow carcinosis.<br> A 37-year-old man underwent rectal amputation under a diagnosis of rectal cancer which proven histopathologically to be mucinous carcinoma. A year after surgery, he reported lumbago. Bone marrow carcinosis with disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome were diagnosed in magnetic resonance imaging, bone scintigraphy, leucoerythroblastosis in the peripheral blood and other blood exams. He died 3 months later. We discuss colon cancer in persons under 40 years of age, mucinous carcinoma of the colon and bone marrow carcinosis of colon cancer.
