抄録
A vacuum vibrator ion source is designed and fabricated in the laboratory for the mass spectrometry work. Currents of Cu, Al, Zn and Fe ions, analysed by a 60° mass spectrometer, are studied as a function of series inductance and the results are discussed in terms of energy spread. Formation of negative ions is noted and the results indicate a feasibility of producing negative ions of Cu, Al, Zn and Fe in an easy way.
