抄録

The single and double electron loss cross sections σ01, σ12 and σ02 of helium beams have been measured for target gases H2, He, N2, O2, CO2, CH4, C2H6 and C3H8 in the energy range from 0.7 to 2.0 MeV. By using cross sections for carbon-containing molecules, the additive rule was verified for the electron loss processes of helium beams in this energy region. Loss cross sections for a carbon atom were deduced. Empirical formulae for single electron loss cross sections were obtained for atomic targets H, He, C, N and O. The ratio between two single electron loss cross sections, σ01⁄σ12, and the ratio between single and double electron loss cross sections, σ01⁄σ02 are discussed.
