抄録

Le Comité Cosultatif de Thermométrie, at its third meeting held June, 1952, decided to carry out the international comparison of the fundamental interval of temperature scale.<BR>The procedure approved for this comparison is as follows; Some platinum resistance thermometers of excellent quality shall be circulated among the laboratories of several countries and each laboratory measures the resistance of these thermometers both at the ice and steam points.<BR>For this purpose, three thermometers offered by the National Bureau of Standards, U.S.A., and the National Physical Laboratory, England and the Institute of Metrology, U.S.S.R., were sent to Japan November, 1954. The measurements were carried out by Dr. Oishi at the Tokyo Institute of Technology and by the writers at the Central Inspection Institute of Weights and Measures. The apparatus (cell for the triple point of water, hypsometer, standard barometer and resistance bridge) and procedures used in their laboratory and the results obtained are described in this article.<BR>Through the measurement, it was confirmed that the fundamental interval of temperature scale established in their laboratory agreed with that in other countries with the difference under ±0.001deg.
