抄録

We made a report on a rapidly growing tumorat the left parotis region of a 57-year-old male, who had been excised the squamous cell carcinomaof his left frontal scalp one year before. We could not find any abnormality of lymphnodes and any other metastasis. Histopathologicallythis tumor was composed of the atypical largecells with a large nucleus with a round or polygonalneucleolus and the smaller basophilic cells. Weak positive reaction to Alcian blue was observedmainly in the stroma. We considered thistumor to be a pooly differentiated type of themucoepidermoid carcinoma at parotid glandaccording to the Zajicek's classification.
