Acetarsol, an arsenical preparation, had no filaricidal effect on larvae and adults even when it was administered to dogs per os in such a large total dose as 500 mg. Copper glutaminate was found ineffective when injected subcutaneously or intravenously in a total dose of 3.75ml/kg. Filarial larvae and adults were not killed by sodium oxyantimonic gluconate which had been injected intravenously in such a large total dose as 350 mg Sb/kg. Bromsulfalein, Bayer 205, and phthalofyne were proved to be ineffective when administered intravenously in a total dose of 200, 300, and 1, 250mg/kg, respectively.
