Background: Serous (papillary) adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix is rare, with only 37 cases being reported worldwide to our knowlege.<BR>Case: A 35-year-old woman reporting postcoital bleeding was found in cytological examination of the endocervix and endometrium to have many malignant cells forming clusters with stratification. Their enlarged nuclei showed anisonucleosis, coarse chromatin, and prominent nucleoli. The diagnosis of the endometrial biopsy was endometrioid adenocarcinoma, G3. We conducted modified radical hysterectomy, giving a postoperative pathological diagnosis was serous adenocarcinoma of the uterine cervix.<BR>Conclusion: This case of uterine cervical serous adenocarcinoma is very rare.
