Abstract

The clinical safety and usefulness of “the AN care cream” for preventing xerotic dermatoses from the xerotic skin conditions were evaluated by measuring the skin surface hydration. Nine atopic xerosis, and 5 xerosis senilis patients were examined for this study.“The AN care cream”was simply applied to the skin twice a day for 1 week, and their skin conditionsw erem onitored. The skin conditions of the wholep atients improved significantly near to the normal level, and sKin surface hydration was significantly higher than that before treatment with“the AN care cream”. We concluded that“the AN care cream”was safe and useful for the prophylactic of xerotic skin conditions.
