抄録

A 32-year-old female with nasopharyngeal angiofibroma is reported. The patient had suffered from epistaxis on the left side since last year. Post nasal mirror examination showed a large tumor in the nasopharynx. The histopathological report of biopsied tissue was fibromatous lesion. Total removal of the tumor was done under general anesthesia, with a blood loss of 200ml. There has been no evidence of tumor reccurence for 16 months after surgery. It is emphasized that nasopharyngeal angiofibroma must be ruled out carefully even in an elderly female.
