抄録

Circadian rhythm was determined using actigraph and daily sleeping reports in two patients who received pinealectomy because of arisen neoplasms. A pinealcyst and a pineocytoma cases were investigated by measuring salivary melatonin with anti-melatonin antibody (RIA2). Actigraph indicated that no sleep/awake circadian rhythm was upsized. The every 10 min activity diary also indicated no difference of daily sleep/awake schedule between with and without pineal body during observing 14 days.
