抄録

We have been developing an accessible electronic musical instrument named Cymis with preprogrammed scores, which is utilized in more than fifteen facilities such as social welfare ( nursing) homes, hospitals and special education schools in Japan. Peoples with disabilities such as cerebral palsy have enjoyed playing Cymis. It was found that young adults with no obvious neural disorders showed apparent brain activities of fmθ (fromtal medial θ waves) of EEGs during playing Cymis. It suggested that Cymis could perhaps be a brain training tool or a means of delaying cognitive losses due to Alzheimer's dement
