抄録

In 2012, questionnaire survey to 72 households of Bagh Devi CF, Chitwan district was undertaken. The results indicate people from lower status economic groups consumed more forest products-at per households and per person level-, particularly firewood, compared to better off economic group because better off group can use other alternative energy sources. This contrasts with beneficiaries of community fund. Higher ratio of better off group answered benefited from community development using the fund compared to lower groups. There is a possibility that selection of community development activities reflected preferences of particular groups.
