抄録

Vesicum Ointment is a topical non-steroidal anti-inflammtory preparation which contains 5 ibuprofen piconol.<BR>The mixture of Vesicum Ointment and topical steroidal Ruful Ointment was prepared and applied to 46 cases of eczema-dermatide which included 26 cases of lichenified atopic dermatitis, 15 cases of lichenified chronic eczema and five cases of other dermatitis, to investigate its clinical usefulness as a poststeroid therapy.<BR>(1) Clinical efficacy of this mixed preparation was 73.3% in treating atopic dermatitis and 73.1% in chronic eczema.<BR>(2) Of 46 cases, two recurrent and two aggravated cases were noted after switching from topical steroid preparation to the mixed preparation.<BR>(3) Side effects were caused in two cases of total 46, which included one case of itching and the other case of redness and itching. But these were not impressive, and the continued use of the mixed preparation was not limited in one case.<BR>From the above, the mixed preparation is found useful as a post-steroid therapy.
