抄録

To evaluate the clinical effects and safety of L-Cysteine Tablet on acne vulgaris, we carried out a well controlled study with L-Cysteine Tablet (SK-153) and Hythiol Capsule in the patients with acne vulgaris.<BR>The following results were obtained.<BR>1) The effective rate of SK-153 on acne vulgaris was 68.4% at 4 weeks observation. The clinical efficacy of SK-153 on acne vulgaris was equal to that of Hythiol Capsule.<BR>2) The side effects of SK-153 were mainly gastrointestinal disturbances.<BR>The frequency and degree of side effects of SK-153 were equal to those of Hythiol Capsule.<BR>3) There were no differences among physicians in the overall judgement of skin lesions, and this study was highly reliable.
