Generally, physical therapists evaluate a level of motor function of patients with a motor impairment in rehabilitation from visual information and so on. It is considered that objective evaluation of patient's motor function based on quantitative data is effective in rehabilitation training. Although 3D motion measurement system has been used in research work, it is difficult to apply it to rehabilitation. In our previous study, a measurement system of lower limb movements during walking was developed using wireless inertial sensors for rehabilitation support. Furthermore, methods of calculating gait parameters such as joint angles and stride length have been studied. However, in data analysis, it takes a lot of time and the effective method of showing measured gait parameters to physical therapists is not clear. In this report, a prototype of the application that calculates and visualizes gait parameters was developed. Gait parameters such as joint or inclination angles, stride length, and gait events (heel off, toe off, heel contact, and foot flat) are not only calculated in a single application but also visualized so that physical therapists can understand them easily.
