抄録

The primary objective of our study is to clarify the statistical characteristics of occurrences of micro-explosion in secondary atomization processes of BDF/water emulsions. Droplet combustion experiments were carried out for oleic Acid Methyl Ester/water emulsion. Weibull analysis was applied to discuss the occurrence characteristics of micro-explosion events. The results showed that distribution function of waiting time for micro-explosion is correlated with the composite Weibull distribution. Waiting time distribution of test emulsions has been composed early failure type and chance failure type.
