抄録

The characteristics of iron-chondroitinsulfate were biologically investigated by its intravenous administration to experimental animals. Much stained iron was detected in reticular cells of hematopoietic organs and therapeutic effect on experimental anemia was observed. On the other hand, no serious toxic effects were observed in both general pharmacological and hematological analyses. From these results, it was considered that iron-chondroitinsulfate might be one of the hematopoietics which could be safely administered intravenously.
