抄録

In order to reduce CO₂ emissions, it is important to use effectively combustible by-product gas which is generated from steelmaking processes such as blast-furnace, coke oven and converter in integrated steelworks. In this paper, exergy analysis has been studied to enhance the efficiency of the energy utilization of steelworks. As the results, the exergy efficiency of a steelworks is able to improve approximately 30% by PCI (pulverized coal injection) increase in blast furnace and enhancement of the power generation efficiency.
