<p>Side members of a car have a great influence on the collision safety of the car body as a main energy absorbing part when the car body collides. In this research, we propose a turning twist type origami structure so as to prevent crash energy to be absorbed by the side member as much as possible when receiving a crash load on the front of the automobile, We propose and investigate rotational molding method.</p>
