Creep of Aluminum Single Crystals

抄録

High-temperature creep measurements were made on aluminum specimens cut from one single crystal. The stress range covered was from 2.5×106 to 1.9×108 dynes/cm2. The temperature range was from 157° to 616°C. The creep rate is proportional to (stress)4.6 exp(−Q/kT) where Q is the activation energy of creep (36 000 cal/mole) and kT has its usual meaning.
