抄録

Natural frequencies and modes of clamped square plates with multi-holes are investigated theoretically and experimentally. The numbers of square or circular holes in a plate are 1~25. The total area of the holes in a plate is constant regardless of the number and the shape of the holes. The theoretical analysis for the cases of square holes is done by using the finite element method. As a result, it is found that the plates with five or more holes have almost the same natural frequencies, independently of the number and the shape of the holes. These frequencies are rather low or nearly equal and the mode shapes are almost the same, compared with those of no-hole plate. Agreement between calculated and experimental results for the plates with square holes is generally good.
