抄録

<p>This paper deals with the characters about the Lay of the Land, the geological features, the waters, the vegetation and the establishments of living of the Tottori castle town. the results of this study are as follows; (1) The southeast and northwest zones in the circumference of the Tottori castle town was the soil swampy place. (2) The zones of the old Fukuro river formed bogs and ponds. (3) The symbolic tree of the Tottori castle town was the willows. (4) "The situation and the scales" of the establishments of Living have something to do with the lay of Land, the geological features and the distance from "the castle" or "the Landing place".</p>
