抄録

Information literacy education at Shinanomachi Media Center, Keio University (Kitasato Memorial Medical Library), has been enhanced since the 1980s, when end-user searches using CD-ROM databases began. This article introduces the libraries current education programs, i. e., “Seminar for Electronic Resources, ” for researchers unlikely to come to the library and accessing electronic resources, including electronic journals, online from their laboratories and offices; an official selective course for medical school students in their curriculum; and new education opportunities for nurses and nursing school students. It also discusses programs by targeted user and tips on constructing customized educational opportunities such as “Seminar for Electronic Resources.” Further issues in improving programs are also discussed.
