「木育」事業における学習プログラムの開発に寄与する目的から,「森林環境教育」実践の場として実績のある「国民が森林にふれあう機会の充実を目的とした森」の施設設備およびそこでの開催事業を調査し,今後の森林を主なフィールドとした施設での「木育」事業の展開を考える上での基礎資料の収集を行った。その結果,木工施設は全施設の約7割が保有していること。この施設を利用して,短期の講座を中心に,森林に触れ,そこから得られた素材による工作・創作活動が多くの施設で実施されていることが明らかとなった。今後は,森林を利用して行う学習プログラムとして,木育の観点からは,特に育てた資源を適切に使うこと,すなわち,循環型社会における再生可能資源の利用のあり方を学ぶ内容の充実が必要と考えられる。

In order to construct "MOKUIKU" activity program, this study investigated the facilities, equipment and the activity program in the public forest park. The woodworking activity and the nature experience activity was planned in most public forest park. The woodworking shop has been equipped in the public forest park of about 70%. The main woodworking activity was acted with hand tools for about 2 or 3 hours. There were a lot of activities of the purpose that enjoy making goods from the material obtained from the forest. But the learning activity for sustainable use of wood was not planned. As "MOKUIKU" activity program in the forest park, the activity for establishing a sound material-cycle society that learns appropriate use of the wood resource is necessary.
