抄録

A diploid specimen of Pteris dispar produced many abortive spores and well-filled tetrahedral or globose spores. This may be an intraspecific hybrid between genetically differentiated races or a mutant characterized by irregular spore formation. It is possible that apparently normal spores give rise to apogmous diploid or sexual tetraploid.
