抄録
Appropriate information provision is important when serious delay happens on the Metropolitan railways in the Great Tokyo Area. Clarifying user preferences is also important to quantify the effects of the information provision service. Therefore, the goal of the research is to clarify how users collecting information and their preference of information provision, when metropolitan railway delay happened. Stated Preference Survey is carried on to make clear the possible actions of railway users by assuming the virtual situation of railway delay happening during the morning peak commuting hours. As a result, we find that provided information like "Driving postponing" and "Accident resulting in injury or death" has a stronger effect to make users changing their routes. Also it shows the impertinence to provide delay information soon and in early stages.
