抄録

Today, the movements and debates for animal rights are still influential standpoints on animal matters in the United States. Those activities are, however, held mainly by people of white middle-class in the U. S., which results in the lack of multi-cultural perspectives. This paper analyzes the political power pressure on both animals and Great Plains Nomads in the 19th century and shows the necessity of new perspectives to the animal theory in American society from the post-colonial point of view.
