抄録

Stress concentration of web-gusset welded joints depended on size of the welded joints. Previous study indicated that stress concentration factor at the weld toe increased with increases of base plate width and gusset length. That result was obtained from stress analysis with joint specimen model. The size effect on the large-scale web-gusset welded joins has not been clarified yet. In this study, for the purpose of confirming stress concentration property of the joint, stress analyses with large-scale girder model have been performed. In addition, determining method of nominal stress at the steel bridge has been analytically confirmed.
