Toho University, in collaboration with the Japan Medical Abstracts Society (an NPO), released the "Toho-Ichushi practice guideline information database" in April 2014. By compiling information on practice guidelines in one place, the database has overcome challenges, such as the need to improve screen interfaces and classifications, with the intention of improving usability. A statistical analysis of the average monthly number of accesses shows an increase from 3427 information searches in fiscal year 2014 to 4,719 in fiscal year 2015, such as that approach to find and follow the classification than the search often, know the actual use it could be.
